The Marietta Islands, are unspoiled and protected as one of Mexico’sNational parks. The islands have beautiful scenery, great snorkeling with several tropical fish, and are populated with several types of birds including the blue-footed booby, as you see in the picture. You will find the greatest numbers of boobies at Marietta and in the Galapagos islands. This bird sanctuary is incredible to see. You'll be amazed at the untouched ecological conservatory. Marietta Islands fishing charters are available out of Punta de Mita, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Marina, Nuevo Marina and Puerto Vallarta. Depending on the time of the year, you can catch African Pompano, Crevalle Jack , Yellow Fin Tuna, Red Snappers and Cubera Snappers. Marietta Islands is a National Park with a restricted zone and no fishing on one side of the Islands that your captain or tour guide will point out to you.
