Riviera Nayarit is the Mexico beach destination of choice for celebrities and expats alike. Real estate prices are less than Hawaii, and more than places out in the middle of nowhere or in the desert but you're paying for better services and infrastructure, ocean/bay/mountain/jungle 360-degree views, and you can buy quality items - anything you need, you can find here. You can go to the PRADA store, or you can shop in the street markets - there is a great variety to choose from, and all price ranges in between.
DIFFERENT FEEL: Riviera Nayarit has a nice, friendly, laid-back feel to it. There are no industrial areas, no commercial shipping ports or factories here - you enjoy cleaner air, more nature, and fun activities. Since nearly everyone here is either on vacation, retired, or loves the laid back lifestyle it's enjoyable to be around so many happy people living their dream.
POWER & POLUTION: Riviera Nayarit is clean and green! For example, Alamar in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (just 25 minutes from Puerto Vallarta’s international airport) is a green real estate development. They use hydropower vs. the coal or diesel-burning power of other places like Manzanillo, and will only have a 25% footprint. Alamar is located on over 90 acres overlooking the entire Bay of Banderas, and nearly 70 acres will remain green space: jungle, gardens, and walking trails. This is truly incredible combination of nature and amenities considering the property has the best views of the entire area.
